The Specializing Master in DESIGN FOR FOOD was co-founded in 2021 by Politecnico di Milano andUniversità degli Studi di Scienze Gastronomiche di Pollenzo. It is managed by POLI.design, the Consortium Company of Politecnico di Milano specialized in post-graduate training that offers University Masters and Advanced Training Courses.

The Master in DESIGN FOR FOOD recognizes how the contemporary food sector, that is already characterized by experimentation and innovation and design-oriented experiences, is increasingly looking for a transversal expertise, capable of strategically integrating design, food engineering, technological, gastronomical skills.

For this reason the Master in DESIGN FOR FOOD combines the design (in a disciplinary perspective that encompasses analysis and strategic development, the development of products and services and communication) and food engineering competences, characteristic of the Politecnico di Milano, with topics and focuses in the area of food connected with humanities, gastronomic sciences and food technologies, provided by a multidisciplinary faculty of academics, professionals and food industry experts.
